Terms & Condition

For the purposes of these terms and conditions, “Client” refers to customers who transact with Goldmines Technical Services, and “Contractor” refers to Goldmines Technical Services, including its assignees and subcontractors (collectively, “The Company”), with whom the customer enters into a contract based on the terms and conditions outlined below regarding the services provided. The work done by Goldmines Technical Services, its representatives, employees, and subcontractors is referred to as “services.”

General Services
The Company reserves the right to accept or decline work at its discretion. When the Company agrees to perform work for the Customer, the assigned Company operative will handle the job according to their discretion.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a competent authority, this will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and all disputes will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the UAE courts.

Charges Based on Time Spent
Charges to the customer will include both the cost of materials provided by Goldmines Technical Services and the time the operative spent performing work on- and off-site, including any time required to obtain materials not in stock. This is billed according to the Company’s current rate card.
At the time of booking, our schedulers provide an estimated duration and scope of work based on the customer’s provided information and their best judgment.
Only the time spent on the Client’s work will be billed.
All charges include VAT at the prevailing rate.
The Client will also cover any parking fees incurred by the Company during the job.
Any time spent locating materials for the work will either be invoiced separately or added to the total time required for the job.

Work on Diagnostic & Fault-Finding
Since unknown problems are difficult to estimate, the Company may propose an initial visit to begin diagnostics. Specialists will communicate any investigation steps taken and what will follow if the problem remains unresolved during this first visit.
This initial appointment is fully billable based on the expertise and work applied, as well as the progress made by ruling out certain possibilities. The Company may then suggest a follow-up appointment if further investigation is required.

Fixed Price Work
Fixed Price Quotes are provided as a firm cost for which the Client is responsible. However, adjustments may apply in the following situations:

• If the Client alters the scope or quantity of work after accepting the quote
• If material costs increase after the quote is signed but before purchase
• If unforeseen issues arise before or after completing the work
• If an obvious error is found in the quote.

Complaints
If a Client believes the work was subpar or incomplete as scheduled, they should contact the Company immediately.

The Company requires evidence to support any identified issues. If these issues are legitimate, the Company will address them at no additional cost.
The Company disclaims responsibility for workmanship or costs of any third parties the Client hires to resolve issues without first consulting the Company.
In such cases, full payment for the Company’s services is still required, as the Company’s commitment to remedy any valid issues remains intact.
